With the challenging operating environment facing HDB these past few years, many of our colleagues have been stretched and tested. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all your hard work, as well as the grit and resilience shown in journeying with HDB through the tough times.

To our award recipients, we greatly value your loyalty and commitment to HDB. We thank you for your many years of dedicated service, and your contributions to making HDB the organisation that it is today.

Chairperson, CEO, DCEO(E) and ACEO(C) presented the awards to our 10- to 45-yr award recipients. Receiving the awards personally from Chairperson and the Senior Leadership Team definitely added to the significance of these awards.

The event however was not just about the awards. It was a celebration of our colleagues' hard work and commitment to HDB. The pre-event activities added to the excitement and created a lively and festive atmosphere, setting the stage for an enjoyable afternoon. The photo booth was a crowd favourite, capturing GIFs and producing printouts with a holographic effect that recipients could take home as a keepsake.

Additionally, selfie-roamers were available for recipients to snap candid shots on the go. The images were sent directly to the recipients through email or WhatsApp, making it a hassle-free experience. 

And let's not forget about the snacks! The aroma of freshly made popcorn filled the foyer, and it was a popular treat among attendees.

Recipients also had fun at the kacang puteh stand, mixing and matching their favourite nuts. This was just a precursor to whet the appetite for the sumptuous high tea reception that was served during the ceremony when recipients were also entertained by Ms Vivienne Wong and Friends who serenaded with a repertoire of jazz songs, and the Meraki String Quartet with their selection of elegant instrumental music.

In between the various segments of the ceremony, recipients took the opportunity to catch up with old friends, walk down memory lane, and congratulate one another on achieving yet another milestone together in their journey with HDB.
